Weekly Training & Competitions
Commencing December 22nd, and continuing until the beginning of April the program will consist of 3-4 days each week and will cover AOS K2 and J1/J2 sponsored races, and Ontario FIS races as per program selection.

Out of Division races for which an athlete must qualify such as the Tachereau Cup, the Ontario K2 Championships, the Canadian Juvenile Championships, Canadian Alpine Championships and NorAm Cup (Canada & USA) race entry fees are not included, although in most instances the coaching fee will be covered if the event falls within the scope of scheduled coaching days.


Daily Training Schedule
Each on snow training day during the competition period (December to April) will, as frequently as possible, consist of two, two hour training blocks broken down as follows:

Mid Week Training
8:30 - 9:00 am Warm up - Individual drills & free ski
9:00 - 10:30 am Technical free ski and/or gate training
10:30 - 11:00 am Rest & nutrition break
11:00 - 12:30 pm Technical free ski and/or gate training 12:30 - 1:00 pm Cool down - Individual free ski
1:00 - 1:30 pm Rest & nutrition break or end of training
1:30 - 2:00 pm Team meeting, Video, Dryland Activity

Weekend Training - Mansfield Ski Club
7:30 - 8:00 am Warm up - Individual drills & free ski
8:00 - 10:00 am Gate training - Slalom or GS
10:00 - 11:00 am Lunch & Rest
11:00 - 1:00 pm Technical free ski and/or gate training
12:30 - 1:00 pm Cool down - Individual free ski
1:00 - 1:30 pm Rest & nutrition break or end of training
1:30 - 2:00 pm Team meeting, Video, Dry-land Activity
